Quantitative Expression of a Slight Deviation of the Impact Angle in a Collision Atomizer

In the processing of colliding atomizers, a small change in inclination each orifice will double impact angle, seriously affecting its atomization performance. this paper, influence slight angle deviation on performance was studied steps 1°, quantitatively, for first time. The cavitation effect flow field combined with shape and parameters field. FLUENT used to simulate internal field, an independently designed atomizer transparent nozzles detect real collision experimental platform laser interference particle measurement were built independently, adjusted through high-precision rotating table establish relationship between collision-angle (60° ± 5°) (Sauter mean diameter, cone spatial distribution droplets). results showed that under same injection pressure, increase led decrease Sauter diameter angle. Taking 60° as benchmark, size concentrated at ~150 μm 300 within variation range ±2°, peak positions very similar.
